Jurassic World: Un regat în ruină (2018)

Cu ce să încep? Cu faptul că noul scenariu este o continuare firească, la nivel general, a ceea ce s-a întâmplat în 2015, dar la nivel de detaliu surprinde.

De data aceasta, dinozaurii rămaşi pe insula Nublar, parcul tematic fiind în ruină şi abandonat de trei ani, trebuie evacuaţi din cauza vulcanului activ care stă să erupă. Situaţia declanşează dezbateri aprinse inclusiv la nivel de guvern. Salvarea de la pieire a numeroaselor specii de dinozauri de pe insulă nu este lucru uşor şi nici nu se poate face în doi oameni, dar pe de altă parte au fost create artificial, ca experiment, în urma unei iniţiative private.

Salvarea pare să vină de la Benjamin Lockwood, cel care continuă iniţiativa lui John Hammond, iniţiatorul clonării dinozaurilor. El a creat un nou sanctuar, pe o altă insulă, dar are nevoie de ajutorul lui Claire Dearing pentru a o localiza pe Blue, ultimul velociraptor. Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), fosta directoare de operaţiuni a parcului, luptă acum pentru salvarea dinozaurilor, dar speranţele ei sunt aproape zero. Când e contactată de Benjamin Lockwood, aceasta îşi oferă cu mare bucurie ajutorul, dar nu are nici cea mai mică idee că în jurul său şi al celorlalţi care vor fi cooptaţi în acest proiect se ţese o pânză de minciuni, lăcomie, bani murdari, violenţă şi crimă.

Îl va contacta pe Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) – ca o paranteză trebuie spus că Bryce Dallas Howard şi Chris Pratt joacă superb, fiţi atenţi şi la schimbul lor de replici de la început, căci este delicios – şi vor pleca pe insulă alături de alţi doi specialişti, un veterinar expert în specii dispărute (Zia Rodriguez, interpretată de Daniella Pineda – mi-ar fi plăcut să apară mai mult în film, joacă foarte bine şi e o prezenţă foarte plăcută) şi un IT-ist (fostul tehnician al parcului, Franklin Webb, interpretat de Justin Smith – a punctat frumos de câteva ori) pentru a ajuta la evacuarea a 11 specii.

Dezlănţuirea dinozaurilor va începe încă de la debutul filmului şi va continua în etape pe tot parcursul acestuia în scene din ce în ce mai uluitoare, până la secvenţa de final care va surprinde pe toată lumea... Prim-planurile sunt înfricoşătoare şi spectaculoase totodată, iar noua creatură a doctorului Wu, Indoraptor, depăşeşte orice închipuire. Să fiţi atenţi la mişcările ei – scena în care zgârie delicat cu ghearele pe o bucată de lemn (un fel de ASMR pe invers) e genială. Acum stau şi mă gândesc ce va urma? Dar sincer, îmi este teamă să speculez...

What to start with? With the fact that the new scenario is a natural sequel of what has happened in 2015, but at the level of details it surprises.
This time, the dinosaurs left on the island of Nublar, the theme park ruined and abandoned for three years now, must be evacuated because of the active volcano that is about to erupt. The situation is triggering heated debates, including in U.S. Senate. Saving the many species of dinosaurs is not an easy task and can’t be done by two people, but on the other hand they were artificially created as an experiment in a private initiative.
After the Senate rejects the rescue of the dinosaurs, Benjamin Lockwood, who continues the ideas of John Hammond, the initiator of the dinosaur cloning, enter the scene. He created a new sanctuary on another island, but he needs Claire Dearing's help to locate Blue, the last velociraptor. Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), the former operations manager of the park, is now fighting to save the dinosaurs, but her hopes are close to zero. When is contacted by Benjamin Lockwood, she offers her help with great joy, but she has no idea that around her and the others who will be co-opted in this project is weaved a web of lies, greed, dirty money, violence and murder.
She will contact Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) – I have to say that Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt play gorgeously, don’t miss their dialogue from the beginning because it’s delicious – and they will leave the island alongside others, a paleo-veterinarian (Zia Rodriguez, played by Daniella Pineda – I would have liked to appear more in the movie, she plays very well and is a very pleasant presence) and an IT analyst (the former technician of the park, Franklin Webb, played by Justin Smith – who has scored some points several times) to help evacuate 11 species.
The rage of the dinosaurs will start from the beginning of the movie and will continue in stages throughout it in increasingly stunning scenes, until the final one that will took you by surprise... The foregrounds are scary and spectacular at the same time, and the new creation of Dr. Wu, Indoraptor, goes beyond any imagination. Watch its movements – the scene in which it gently scratch with the claws on a piece of wood (a kind of twisted ASMR) is brilliant. Now I am wondering what's next? But honestly, I'm afraid to speculate...
